Home Health Care Services
Skilled Nursing Services - RNs, LVNs
Professional nurses provide prescribed treatments, assess changes, and supervise the care of the patient. An emphasis is placed on patient and family instruction to foster maximum self care.
Home Health Aides
A qualified Home Health Aide will assist with bathing, dressing, personal care, and other nursing care as directed by and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physical Therapist.
Physical Therapy
It is used to help the patient regain strength and coordination. Services provided include heat, massage, ultrasound, and special exercises as prescribed by the doctor.
Occupational Therapy
Provides activities and exercises designed to help the patient resume self-care and normal daily life.
Speech Therapy
Involves treatments that help the patient with speaking, hearing, and language problems. Speech therapy, for example, may be necessary for a stroke victim who needs help in learning to speak clearly again.
Medical Social Services
Can assess and remedy social, environmental, and emotional factors which relate to the patient's home health problems and utilize all family and community resources for adjustment and rehabilitation.
Registered Dietitian
Provides assistance to patients with nutritional problems performed in accordance with physician's order.
Service Hours
8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Earlier and later home visits can be arranged to meet patient needs.
Weekend and Holidays
Essential nursing and home health aide care can be provided on Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
A telephone call by 3:00 p.m. on Friday afternoon, when requested, will ensure Saturday and Sunday services.
Same Day Services
A telephone call by 12 noon will ensure a Home Visit, when requested, on the same day.
